SC-107 Speed Option

Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA)  SC-107 Speed Option

Speed Option tests shooting at multiple distances and has the farthest stop plate of all the stages.

Engage (T1-T4) Finish on Stop Plate (SP) - Competitors shoot all five strings from the center shooting box.

Best four out of five runs count for score.

Targets and Shooting Boxes:

  • One 3-by-3 shooting box at the centerline

  • Four 12-inch plates at 5 feet high

  • One 18-by-24-inch rectangle (SP) at 5 feet, 6 inches high

Max Target Distances:

  • 35 yards deep (firing line to farthest target)

  • 42 feet, 5 inches wide (farthest distance, left to right, from target centers)

  • Average target distance = 17.6 yards
