SC-102 Showdown

Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA)  SC-102 Showdown

Showdown is a five string stage with two shooting locations. The two shooting locations create a different challenge across the same targets. 

Engage (T1-T4) Finish on Stop Plate (SP) - Competitors shoot three strings from one shooting box and two strings from the other with no more than three strings from any one box. There is no movement between boxes during a string.

The best four of five runs count for score.

Targets and Shooting Boxes:

  • Two 3-by-3 shooting boxes 6 feet apart

  • Two 10-inch plates at 5 feet high

  • Two 18-by-24-inch rectangles at 5 feet, 6 inches high

  • One 12-inch stop plate (SP) at 5 feet high

Max Target Distances:

  • 25 yards deep (firing line to farthest target)

  • 18 feet wide (left to right from target centers)

  • Average target distance = 16.4 yards
